J & W Soaps Soap Shaper Scraper Tool with Stabilizing Bar

Check us out at www.jandwsoaps.com I have made several prototypes and test prints for soap shapers in an attempt to make a secure guide that is fool-proof...basically something even I could use. I think this may do the trick. The bar lies flush against the top of the mold and perpendicular to the shaper tool to keep the shaper level but also offer some stability if you lose your grip on the shaper. I have dropped multiple types of guides in an attempt to make sculpted layered soaps. I'm pretty much the embarrassing person you see on infomercials who fumbles over things awkwardly when they shouldn't. With this design, even when I lose grip of the shaper and bar, the bar doesn't just fall away from the shaper. It stays in place and stays level. This is a template for a soap shaper or scraper tool used to create consistent layers in cold process soap. Tip for using: Place the bar on the side of the scraper that is moving forward. For example, if you are scraping towards you, then the bar should be between you and the scraper. The two files are shapers that will fit the small tall and skinny soap mold from NS and the purple mold most people get from Amazon.
