J1772 connector hanger with hood and cable mount hood. Based on erroneus's design but with thicker support structure and no inner connection ports. 30 degree hanger. Also reduced the overhang of the final lip to only be 45 degrees off base. Not over 45 degrees. Printed it. It's working great. I might bevel out the inside to make the plug slide in more fluidly. I'll probably try this with a dremel first. This is not a tight fit, but that's okay, the push button latch does the job of holding plug in place. The lip is working to hold cable on. I think it might work a bit better if I reduced the downward angle leading to the lip on the hood. The cable hasn't fallen yet, but it feels like in heavy winds it might. There's lots of free space inside of the housing. I might* Remove some of that free space and reduce this downward angle at the same time. *I have removed this space and uploaded an updated version called j1772hanger_smaller. It has the same wall footprint, so your existing screw holes can be reused. I have also added the requested air hole. The smaller hanger bracket only has a clearance of 24 millimeters between the inside of the plug house and the underside of the underside of the cord hanger. Please measure your plug to make sure it will fit. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: MakerGear M2 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 30% Notes: If printing in PLA or PET+, scale at 100%. The print will work fine, but the plastic will be brittle if left in the sunlight and may break when bumped by anybody walking past. If printing in ABS, scale up to 101%, or the printout may be too tight to fit your plug in. You may wish to add a skirt to prevent warping. You know your printer better than I do.
