Jabra Evolve 30 II Bracket

Jabra Evolve 30 II Bracket

I was issued a Jabra Evolve 30 II headset with microphone at work, however, after using speakers and Bluetooth headsets for years, I found the wire cumbersome, and the additional 4-button remote that the headset connect to even more so. It was just taking up space on my table and there was no good location for it. So I looked around my desk and decided the best position to keep the remote was under my table. It would be best if there is a hook as well to store the headset when it isn't in use. Which made me design this bracket. It allows me to fix the remote to the vertical support of my desk. During use, the wire came out from under the desk and does not clutter up my tabletop, making usage of my keyboard and mouse easy. The remote being relatively accessible as well should I need the buttons. I can easily and quickly put my headset away if I leave my desk, and swiftly pop it back onto my head once I return, without having to worry about wire tangles. I use two pieces of M3x6 self-tapping wood screws (countersunk) to mount it, but I'm sure double-sided tape works as well. Not sure how popular the Jabra headset is, but putting the design here just in case as this is my first 3D-printed design that I found genuinely useful. Note: You may notice that the Thing's design looks different in the pictures -- the pictures are of the original design. I have since touched up the design to strengthen the hook and increase the bending radius of the remote's cable.
