Jabra Evolve 65 Replacement Earpiece Cover

This is a repair/replacement part for a Jabra Evolve 65 headset. It may also work on other Jabra Evolve headset, but was designed and tested solely on the Evolve 65. The second image shows my damaged headset that I designed this part to correct - a silver cover on the end of the headband where the earpiece extends from had broken in half. Additionally at that end, the inner removable cover had broken as well, and was no longer held tight against the head band. As a result, the extendable earpiece would no longer stay in any desired position, since it relies on the tight fit of this inner cover to help hold it at a certain extension. This headset's inner cover is held on the band with two screws at the top end (furthest from earpiece), and appears to have had some plastic clip at the opposite end (closest to earpiece) to help hold it against the band at that end - which in my case had broken off. This repair part replaces the silver end cover that had broken in half on my headset. I also designed a lip into this cover (see the first image) to overlap the adjacent inner removable cover and hold it in position at the bottom. This end cover fit quite well on my Jabra Evolve 65 headset, and resolved my issue with the broken inner cover without needing to replace it as well. The FreeCAD design file is attached as well. The STL file may need to be rotated in your slicer; I printed this part with the bottom face (with the small slot in it) down on the print bed.
