Jabra Solemate Holder for Beach Cruiser

I really love my Jabra Solemate bluetooth speaker. Since I live at the beach, I spend a LOT of time on various beach cruisers but mainly two beach cruisers that both use a similar double downtube frame design. If you have a beach cruiser that uses a similar design, and you also have a Jabra Solemate, you probably need this design. If you don't have a Jabra Solemate, this design will make you want to go out and buy one. This is my 2nd attempt at a speaker holder for the bike. The first version clamped on to the top tube and it put the center of gravity for the speaker way too high. This new design is MUCH stronger, and it keeps the speaker down low and more protected. After some quick tests on the cruiser, this thing just works and it's very solid. Instructions I've included the STL for the base that holds the speaker and two different lower mounts. I have a firmstrong cruiser and an electra crusier. Both of these use different downtube diameter/spacing. If you don't have a firmstrong or electra cruiser, you'll need to edit the scad file and put in your own values. It's pretty easy. I print the top with lots of infill since I also tap it with a 1/4"x20 tap. The rest of the parts I print with 10% infill. Also, make sure your upper mount uses a rise of 9mm so there is clearance for the thumb bolts and they don't hit the frame of your cruiser. For a complete unit you'll need to print: Top Base (2) mounts (an upper and lower) (6) Thumb Bolts You'll need to buy: (2) 1/4"x20 Hex Nuts (4) 1/4"x20 Hex Bolts, 1" long You'll also need to tap the holes for the bolts. Happy cruising.
