Jack-O'-Lantern

A Jack-O'-Lantern for Halloween! The base, lid, and stem are separate since I wanted to print the stem in a different color. I was able put the stem and lid together for a single extrusion print too. My daughter came up with the idea to have the light hanging from the lid. We used adhesive magnets for this and it works well. It has the flexibility of putting the light at the bottom or the top. We like the top since the space between the eyes generally blocks the intensity of the actual light and we get a better glowing effect. These could make for fun candy dishes too (as long as the candies are not too small). I've been wanting to make a jack-o'-lantern for over a year. It was fun to finally put this together. The face design is how I always carved my pumpkins as a kid. Maybe I'll try some new designs too. It's certainly easier to "carve" on the computer than with a knife.
