~This is my first post on thingiverse (or other such sites for that matter) so plase have patience as I'm figuring this thing out.~ 12V Variable power supply case ( electrical design coming soon - but it's simple really). Fully parametric. Fusion 360 file - full file. Finished product pictures coming up ( still printing) Will return with pictures and schematics. Simple electrical build, simple components: 1. 220VAC - 12VDC 3A power supply, model S-36-12 - Full Chinesium 2. Simple LM317T Voltage regulator build using: - 1X 2X8cm perf board - LM317T Voltage Regulator -1X100nF ceramic Capacitor between imput and ground -1X10uF electrolitic capacitor between output and ground - ~500Ohm resistor (or equivalent) between output and Adj pin - 1X 10KOhm linear pot between Adj pin and ground for adjusting output voltage. - 1X heatsink for the LM317T - the bigger you can fit in the better . 3. 4X metric 4 female banana plug (make it 2 red 2 black for fancyness, but you really don't need color code because the case design has embossing on the case) 4. 1X Case Voltmeter (sorry but I don't know the model no. -chinesium stuff. Mine has 3 digits and the display is 10mm/22.53mm - check case dimensions to be sure) 5. Mounting Screws : 4xself tapping M2 ; 2Xself tapping M3.
