1/1800th scale Kaga Aircraft Carrier model. Certain elements not to scale. The Kaga was originally designed as a Tosa-class battleship, but the project was stopped by the post-WWI naval treaties. Her sister ship, Tosa was used for testing then scuttled and the Kaga was redesigned as an aircraft carrier. The Kaga was among the six carriers that participated in the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor. She was sunk just six months later at the Battle of Midway. This is part of my collection of WWII warships, keep an eye out for more to come. If you have a specific request, message me and I'll bump it up my list. Update 9 May '19: Fixed minor architectural errors. Update 13 Aug '19: Added boats. Adjustments for better printability. Tested with PLA at .1mm layer height with .4mm nozzle.
