This is a 3d model of a kozane (= japanese lamellar armor scales) based on a pattern provided by Anthony J. Bryant. Referring to his work the style of this scales is dated back to the 12-13th Century. Note: This 3d printed scales are not sca combat tested yet!!! I initially designed them to make a silicon mold for resin casting the scales. scale measurements: length: 75 mm width: 38 mm height: 1-2 mm hole diameter: 4 mm Update ... I added a 1 mm thick version of the kozane, otherwise the thickness of the laced scales would be 8 mm. Which is in my opinion way too much.
