Jar lid opener

This a planetary gear set to assist opening of jar lids for those who have difficulties. This design will accommodate various lid diameters (85mm to 74mm diameter). The sun gear drives the planetary gears which drives the ring gear. The ring gear is a plate with slots at an angle to move the flippers and clamp down on the jar lid. The gear set and slot give a good amount of mechanical advantage for greater torque value. This has been a fun and challenging design project, I hope all will like this model. Thanks!
