How I Designed This step by step the 10 steps step one : how wide is the arm of the character.. how high and wide can the sholderpad be. make a sketch. and boss extrude. step 2: a square sholderpad is bad . make it round.. cut step 3 : add a roman sholderpad.. boss extrude. step4 : need protection from side . you will want to change angle of this. for when you char holds arm to side. so extrude otherside from starting plane. this is a sweept cut. so change angle of the sketch that holds the line. by making it shorter. step 5:add second protection looks cooler .. same deal with angle as step 4. step 6: same plane as first extrude. step 7: create a plane further away.. and make the cut in. step 8: mirror both step 6 and step 7 .so other side looks the same. step 9 : make a cut . so it looks better.. step 10 : fillet where you want curves.. Iam not going to give measurments .. this was done freehand by looking in the assembly to see if I liked how it looked.. the best way to mate part in an assebly is with construction lines. perferable from a sketch from the part your connecting to.. the exact flat surface. go in and make a sketch and copy to the part your making.
