Just spool-less and/or got some of that dirt cheap filament that questionable quality-often-hails-from-a-country without-Free-speech-nor-Freedom of assembly and that filament could most likely not even handle the neighbours cat breaking wind? Filament req: about 80grams. Use PLA! Its moar awesome than any plastic you have not liberated/recycled yourself from the local dumpster. Instructions · Download. · Use your favourite slic3rs multiply function. · Print two of the nave's -> sudo/pressfit those 608zz bearings in there while still hot. · Print six of those... Spoolheads, pacmanthingys, filamentbrains, hohohomerryCthulhu, filamentafro's, reprapreligious symbol/hat of the cloaked threaded rod brotherhood or "whatever one might conjure up for the moment-thingys". · Get out your favourite 6mm wood dowels or request a stl/adjust the files accordingly. · Measure your filament roll inner diameter, divide by two, subtract thirteen-ish and cut your dowels. · Measure your filament roll width, add twenty and cut. · Assemble, one side + the bearing dowels. · Test fit & adjust. · Satisfied? Dab some glue here and there. · Use! I have loaded it with 3kg(6.6lb) so far and will use it with 5kg as soon as it comes out of my printer. Still not satisfied? Learn by fire up FreeCAD and doodle. When you know the jest of it: In the nave file, there are two radius values. One as ref.(608zz), the other to fiddle with. Realign the three dowel connectors. Choose the object to export choose 'meshformats' and create your .stl! N.B; And the file isn't as clean as it should, aka will fix if memory serves or comments for as an incentive. Same goes for the spoolhead file.
