<p>This is my take on adafruit's excellent light saber.</p> <p>I made the following changes to suit my needs&amp;preferences:</p> <ul> <li>optimized for single material printer</li> <li>more rounded, organic shapes</li> <li><p>slightly lengthened to make more room for cables I also changed the code a bit to have more variety in sounds.</p> <p>For all the electronics and coding please see adafruit's thing and their website.<br/> Very good tutorial and instructions, suitable for beginners.</p> <p>I have also uploaded my Fusion 360 file, with all the changes to adafruit's design.<br/> Disclaimer, its messy as I am not an expert.</p> <p> <figure class="media"> <oembed url="https://youtu.be/-zKqaLdetNc"></oembed> </figure> </p> <h3>Post-Printing</h3> <p>Lots of priming and sanding.</p> <p>Then spray painting.</p> <p>Weathering with an airbrush and oil paint.</p> </li> </ul> Category: Toys & Games
