Jba Fofi(Giant Spiders of the African Congo)

                                   Jba Fofi Jba Fofi is the name the Baka tribespeople of the Congo have given this creature.  The name literally means ‘Giant Spider’.  It is not known how large they grow but tribespeople say they have seen them as large as five foot and that is just their body length.  They are ambush predators and they catch prey by building large webs in-between two trees on game trails.  They have been known to catch men in these webs and are more than capable of killing whatever they snare. My inspiration for creating this creature is because the thought of giant spiders actually existing in this world today is a frightening thought. I believe this exotic creature does exist as there have been far too many sightings of it by prominent explorers and other people. Not to mention an entire tribe of Congolian people live their lives around them and take the precautions needed to exist within their midst.  Some might say they do not exist, but many said the gorilla did not exist and heavily mocked those who reported seeing them.  We know now they do exist.  So who is to say this exotic species does not really exist.  With that said, I give you my exotic entry… Jba Fofi, The Giant Spider of the Congo.
