ABOUT THIS 3D FIGURINE"Master, moving stones is one thing, but this is ... totally different!", "No! It is not different! Just different in your mind. You must unlearn what you have learned."After the Battle of Hoth, Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 ventured into the Dagobah system in search of a renowned Jedi Master Yoda to learn the ways of The Force. Reluctant at first, the former Grand Master of the fallen Jedi Order agreed to train the young Skywalker to become a Jedi Knight. No wonder Luke’s training on Dagobah is considered to be one of the highlights of The Empire Strikes Back episode of your favourite space opera! In the new epic 3D printing scene that joins our SW category, Luke Skywalker balances Master Yoda on his foot somewhere in the middle of Dagobah’s swamps and forests. The author of the 3D printing diorama made sure to carefully depict the determination of the aspiring Knight and the serenity of the wise Master. After all, you never know what tests await on the path to becoming a Jedi. You may even be tasked to lift an X-Wing from a swamp!ADAPTATION FOR 3D PRINTINGJedi in Training figurines for 3D printing in diorama is a static assembly model and its moderation and adaptation for different types of 3D printers took Gambody team circa 42 hours. The anatomy and proportions of both Luke and Master Yoda figurines were thoroughly reviewed during the moderation process for both characters to be depicted harmoniously in the intended training scene. The model’s cutting was chosen by our team to minimise the amount of generated support and some of the parts were hollowed out for you to save resin in the Eco version. In order to conceal the places where the assembly parts of the model must be connected, both figurines were cut along the contour of their clothes seams, Yoda was separated from Luke’s foot, while Master’s walking stick was extracted from the Jedi’s hold. All assembly parts come in STL files of FFF/FDM versions in recommended positions that were worked out in order to ensure the smoothness of the details’ surfaces after printing and so that the 3D printing beginners don't face difficulties when placing the parts on a build plate. When downloading any diorama's file you will also receive "Assembly Manual" for FFF/FDM 1.0 and DLP/SLA 1.0 versions in PDF format. The model is saved in STL files, a format supported by most 3D printers. All STL files for 3D printing have been checked in Netfabb and no errors were shown. The model's scale was calculated from Luke Skywalker's approximate height which is 1700 mm. The 3D printing model's chosen scale is 1:8 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:16 for the DLP/SLA/SLS versions.VERSIONS' SPECIFICATIONSFFF/FDM 1.0 version features:- Contains 17 parts;- A printed model is 330 mm tall, 188 mm wide, 187 mm deep;- The assembly kit includes lock 17_ge_lock_10H(x9) to attach the model's parts securely without glue that needs to be printed 9 times;- All parts are divided in such a way that you will print them with the smallest number of support structures.DLP/SLA 1.0 version features:- Contains 8 parts;- A printed model is 165 mm tall, 94 mm wide, 94 mm deep;- All parts are divided in such a way to fit the build plates and to ensure that support structures are generated where needed.DLP/SLA Eco 1.0 version features:- Contains 8 parts;- A printed model is 165 mm tall, 94 mm wide, 94 mm deep;- Contains some hollowed out parts to save resin.DLP/SLA Pre-supported 1.0 version features:- Contains 8 parts;- A printed model is 165 mm tall, 94 mm wide, 94 mm deep;- The STL files that this version comprises are pre-supported, hollowed out, and have drain holes where needed;- You may choose to print the STL files one by one or several at once, depending on the dimensions of your resin 3D printer's build plate;- When slicing several STL files at once, the attachment layers (Platform Touch Shape) may overlap, but the supports must not come into contact.SLS 1.0 version features:- Made as a solid one-piece Luke and Yoda figurines;- A printed model is 165 mm tall, 94 mm wide, 94 mm deep;- Contains 4 parts - a solid model + Luke, Yoda and platform separated. You can get the figurines of Jedi in Training in Diorama for 3D Printing immediately after the purchase!
