Here is my iphone 6 cup holder phone charger base for a Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 (2011-present). This works for an iphone 6 without case, utilizing a stock apple charger cord. A retention plate is including and required to keep the charge end from pushing into the holder when inserting your phone. This part holds the phone securely and can be rotated at any angle within the cup holder to suit your preference. The part fits snugly into the cup holder, however after a while of sitting in a hot car in the summer, I found I had to add some masking tape to the back side of the part to take up a very small amount of slack due to what seemed to be the part shrinking a little. A couple pieces did the trick. No problem. The retention plate screws into the base with a couple 2-56 x 1/2" screws. I have also used a slightly larger third party charge cord. I had to enlarge the charge hole slightly with a dremel. I printed mine with wood filament. The color matches the interior nicely. I also CNC cut some carbon fiber letters to fill the recessed "Jeep" logo on the top. This requires support to print, but it's all on the underside. Also included is a V2 version. This version has a place to wind the excess charge cord around. Also, the opening for the charge connector is modified to accept an LED lit Golf brand charge cord. This is my favorite. It glows a nice blue color and is easy to locate the charger at night. Also, V2 has some additional banding around the sleeve part to accommodate the shrinkage mentioned above from a hot car.
