Jeep TJ Vent Bracket Cam

I've had many vehicle break-ins. I lock my other cars but If you own a Jeep with a soft top, you will understand me when I say I would rather the would be thief to pop his head in and find nothing rather than them rip my top to gain entry. With that said, I've found that retailers sell these Wyze cams very cheap (I bought mine for $15 at Microcenter). They come with free cloud storage and run on very low power (5v USB). I wanted to install one in my Jeep so that if someone enters it, it would immediately alert me. I took some measurements and created this model with Sketchup. It fits snug, flush, and is hard to remove (which is good). To install you have to push hard until it clicks. There is a small opening where the vent meets the vent-shaft, this is an easy way to push through the USB cable. I was able to find a really cheap USB charger and wired it into my fusebox with a fuse splice and a switch so the camera is always on. You can add a switch if you feel like it might kill your battery. I've been testing and It has been running for 3 days so far and has not killed my battery. I would say if you drive every day or every other day you should be fine.
