This clip will hold a Jeep YJ door switch open so the interior lights will remain off when the doors are removed. This was designed to work with OMIX part number <a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E3VFP20/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1">17237.17 </a>but I believe it may work with others. A note on these door switches...it is well known that these switches are weak and break easily. I found that putting some JB Weld into and around the joint at the back end strengthens the joint. Also, putting some <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Permatex-81150-Dielectric-Tune-Up-Grease/dp/B000AL2RI2/ref=asc_df_B000AL2RI2/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312126147596&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=645928826842885868&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9021604&hvtargid=pla-457202311674&th=1">dielectric grease</a> on the contacts improves the function of the switch.
