I had a 13mm diameter aluminum tube that was too long. I wanted to cut it more precisely than I knew I could do free-handing. So I designed this jig in Shapr3D.

The cut was a tiny bit crooked, but I was able to use the jig to steady the Dremel's sanding disc and shave down the excess. The final product turned out perfect. This model could also be used to cut PVC pipe or a wooden dowel.

The jig was printed with Prusament PETG, but PLA would work fine. I used bobstro's supports for a clean circle in the center. 0.3mm layer height, 15% infill. I included the STEP file if you wanted to enlarge the hole or remix.

Please wear eye and face protection when cutting and sanding with a rotary tool.
