Jig Rod Handle
thingiverse
The price of Jig rods have gone thru the roof, like everything. I decided to make my own using the end of an old spinning rod. Looked high and low for a handle but there doesn't seem to be any out there similar to this one, so I pulled up Fusion 360 and cranked out my own. Hole runs about 175mm thru the handle and is 5.35mm in diameter. Rod is cut down to make the overall length 32" long. Rod is glued into handle using 30 minute epoxy. Balance of the finished product is at the center of the reel. Be sure to print at 99% infill. Reel is thing:2680438 by Michael Hackney (SublimeLayers).
