This 3D model is an incomplete jigsaw puzzle, which belongs to a Covid-19 digital collection. The jigsaw puzzle has 1000 pieces and the theme of it is oil painting landscape. The jigsaw puzzle was first produced in London in 1760 as a dissected map used for geography teaching. As time goes by, the materialand the theme of the puzzle changed, it is played as a puzzle game and are popular around the world. The jigsaw puzzle is meaningfulin this special period of time. During the Covid-19 pandemic, people spend more time staying at home, some indoor entertainment items become more popular, such as the jigsaw puzzle. The jigsaw puzzle in the 3D model is complex and very time-consuming to put together. I spent several hours playing it during the Covid-19 lockdown. When playing the jigsaw puzzle, one’s attention will be concentrated and other thoughts will be reduced, which can alleviate the anxiety and depression caused by the lockdown. Created by Mengxin Wang
