=JJ= Industries: Kylo Ren Helmet Intro: After I saw that first iconic trailer I knew i wanted to have a great involvment in this particular character, ever since I've been obsessed with all things kylo, this mask belive it or not only represents a small fraction of the time i've put into researching all the elements of the character, down to having his outer robe fabric recreated at a Mill !! but anyway enough of that.. The time has come, after an absolutely fantastic run of support from a Plethora of folks from the RPF, SLD TFE, 501st and the Fantastic Knights of Ren, I want to release my source 3D Files for my Kylo Ren Helmet V1 to the world for FREE, all I ask is you Credit me (http://www.facebook.com/JJIndustriesUK) and share your Awesome prints with me on my page. Starwars is somthing we can all share and love together, through collaboration we can all lift each others costume quality this helmet certainly isnt 100% accurate but if enjoy my work then please spread the word maybe you even want to modify my work and make it even better !!   Design: I spent almost 5 weeks Designing the Kylo Ren helmet and it was absolutely the biggest design undertaking in the 3d world i've made to-date, i designed it entirely in Solidworks and it took some 100+ hours to refine the design before i was happy to proceed. i went through 4 physical prototypes of domes before i settled on one that was comfortable and looked good, true it's not perfect but i'm always aiming to improve, the project gave me alot of new insight into how i'd go about doing it next time round .. While holding down a full time job you can imagine fitting in 100 hours of design and many more on printing and finishing and sanding took me away from my regular life, i want to take this moment to thank my wife karen for supporting me through this entire project and still is today !!  My Friends.. I've had ENORMOUS support from the prop community on this project with continuous well wishers and other positive messages during my develoipment on the RPF i can say they kept me going when i considered giving up haha, also the group that emerged around delving into the details of Kylo (Knights of Ren) has been a fantastic place to be a part of.
