jjrc h31 to 808 mini hd-camera (#16) board adapter

this is a quick-n-dirty adapter to mechanically mount the board of an 808-16 keychain hd-camera upside down to the belly of a jjrc-h31 drone. the drone already has 4 little posts to mount something on. you will need 4 tiny srews to fix the adapter there. the adapter has itself 3 posts for the 808-board. note: I have no holes printed in those, as the screws are really tiny. instead I used a needle and a lighter, to burn tiny holes into them, so that the original 808-screws fit quite well. the adapter itself isn't very stiff - it get's its stiffness from the mount to the drone and from the mount to the 808-board. oh, I didn't use the original key-chain housing at all, as it comes with weight and only little functionality (like of course protection) - but the most important for me was to loose weight (on the drone ;-). I glued the lens with a double-sided foam tape to the platform I introduced in front of the adapter. this way, the lens is a bit stabilized and has an angle of about 30° downwards. additionally you can wrap some tape around the lens and the platform, if you think the mechanical connection through the tape is too weak. you will see, that the original battery will not fit in here - I introduced a jjrc-h31 backup-battery as the "new" 808-battery. it lasts longer and fits well on the back part of the adapter, with a little elastic band to fix it there. as promised, here you are some pictures of the final assembly. I also introduced some foam below the lens-area to reduce vibrations. this works nicely - not to say perfect - while hovering - in flight i do have some vibrations. one last thing: if you open the lens, you can easily remove the ir-filter, which makes it a real cool ir-camera with a little better lowlight performance - if you can accept the reds in your movies ;-). of course you have to adapt the focus a little then.
