JLAB Talk Microphone Stand

JLAB Talk Microphone Stand

This is a compact stand for the JLAB Talk microphone. It's fairly basic, but is designed to minimise the space taken up on the desk and to reduce the overall height compared with the supplied stand so that the microphone does not obscure your monitor screen. The overall height, including the microphone body is approximately 190mm. The print is in two parts, I have tested using mitre bond (2-part superglue) to bond the two pieces together and this has proved adequate to support the weight of the microphone body. If you prefer to bolt the parts together, there is only just clearance between the Microphone body and the support bracket for a bolt head. The main pedestal does flex forward a little as printed. I printed at 15% cubic infill and would increase this to reprint. This is version one, if you're looking to print this it is decent, but it would benefit from the rear of the pedestal being rounded rather than flat as the additional depth that would give to the pedestal would significantly increase stiffness. I would also add a hole to the pedestal so that the JLAB-supplied 90 degree USB cable can pass through and remain out of sight.
