The logic of this design lies in the idea that people will use the amount of paper towels that loosely corresponds with their level of maturity. More conscientious adults are aware of waste and tend to be more conservative in use of paper towels whereas younger persons will use them liberally, running out often. This design reinforces the existing patterns of behavior by utilizing natural moral values. A mature person will find the act of changing the roll slightly distasteful, and will appreciate a long run with one roll of paper towels. An immature person will find the act of changing rolls gratuitous, bringing a sense of satisfaction to the chore of replacing the roll. The design is strongly sexually suggestive but it could fly under the radar of impropriety by nominally signifying a hand cradling the roll. Mounting bracket gives the form a slight angle that prevents slipping of the roll, and angles it in such a way that two bottom fingers touch the counter on which paper towel holder might be resting
