Updated 12/30/2020: Added pictures showing gluing instructions for the Iris leaves and added a STL and pics for a LED defuser using a neopixle jewel 7 Updated 07-26-2020: Replaced Cup STL with errors. Added Servo back plate to control eye movment. also houses servo for Vent actuation. The main Eye housing is drilled to allow the servo bracket to be clocked to fit the right or left side. Two parts need to be mirrored for the right side: "Lower Gimbal Bracket" & "Servo Back Plate" Updated 07-2020 to include a bracket for conecting a servo to gimbal the eye. Will add servo mounts at a later date. While wanting to build a full size J5 replica head I found the lens used for the original eye & iris is very expensive and hard to find. I could not find a printable version so i built this one. This includes the gimbal mount but not the mechanisim to gimbal the eye. (I will upload this once I design one) The frame is drilled to clock the servo bracket in two different orentations to give room for vent actuator on eye tube on left or right side. When gluing the pins into the iris leaves be sure to make sure they are smooth on the back side. I used epoxy but superglue will work also. Iris requies 11 but print a few extra because there are always one or two with defects that may cause problems.
