WORKAROUND FOR S3D: MENU->MESH -> SEPARATE CONNECTED SURFACES just showing what CAN (!) happen, POSSIBLY, if you join two objects in CAD, and the VARYING result DEPENDING on the type of SLICER USED. No reason to be offended whatsoever, still grateful for the work that went into this design, but fair critique should be read carefully rather than being antagonised immediately. Peace Out. Forum excerpt: "Well if the parts are self-intersecting, and you have them all in the same STL file, then that isn't a valid file. If you run it through any of the online repair services, they will all complain about this. You should have booleaned the parts together in the CAD program first."
