Joycon Case

Joycon Case

I was doing some reading and have done some revisions and have not attempted a print as of this posting but am hoping to do so soon. My anticipation is printing the lid at 100% infill since it will be the primary source of holding the joycons. when it comes to the actual case, im not sure what to entirely print it in. im going to try starting out with just 10% infill. EDIT: i just finished a print of this and will have to possibly revise the model. however some suggestions. after the print is complete. do some sanding on the top of the box. the lid fits rather snug and is relatively hard to remove if you dont. however the slots in the side of the box can be used for some kind of strap to go over the top i would imagine to make sure that the lid does not come off if needed. As I have now completed this little project. Upon completion I clear coated it to just give it that little extra strength and scuff resistance. although I did not clear coat where the lid meets the box. or the inside of the lid. As one may see, it may not be optimal. However it seems to be rather efficient. The rubber band through the slots on the side and over the top. That should ensure that the lid will remain on even with the joycons inside. Questions, comments, and suggestions are always welcome. and a special thank you to AlecBledsoe for his original design.
