***PLEASE READ ENTIRE SUMAMRY BEFORE PRINTING/EDITING*** *INFO:* This is a mount to hold joy-cons around a phone or tablet. It uses a simple rail system designed with a 1/4 inch wide and 3/4 inch long hex head bolt, and a 1/4 inch wingnut in mind. This was designed to fit my phone and tablet, so it has a depth of .5 inches, and has an extension range from 6 inches to 11 inches. I plan to use electrical tape as a rubbery surface to help keep the devices in with friction, as they can slip out currently. I have included a link to the document to edit the design if you have certain specifications in mind. *PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:* Many design choices were made in order to improve ease of printing, but some parts will still be difficult to print. You will want to print each side separately, I used a .15mm layer height with a 15% infill. You most likely will need supports to print the right side, I used my slicing program's auto supports with a few unnecessary supports removed. I did not use a raft or base for the right side, and it printed just fine, but do as you wish. Each side took around 11-12 hours to print. ***IMPORTANT:*** The whole build is scaled up by 10x, as well as it's upside down. (this was because of the rail models I used being already that way and everything was built off of them.) I use an older version of Flash Print as my slicer, and I scaled it from 100% to 10%. Also, if the build is small on your slicer, then switch it between inches and millimeters or vise versa to get it to the "proper" massive size that you can then properly scale down. My printer (flashforge creator pro) could not print the edges of the joy con rail thin enough, so I had to sand the edge that faces the joy-con down to make them thinner, but your mileage will vary. I **HIGHLY** recommend using the joy con rail test file included to test how your printer handles the rails, and how much you might need to sand it. *CREDITS:* Joy-con rail: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/nintendo-switch-joy-con-controller-mount-rail (I modified this part for the final build to remove unnecessary features and improve the fit of the joy-con).
