This redesigned printer was inspired by the Printrbot, with its creator learning to build from Sketchup. Tired of issues with the original model, they decided to construct their own version. While not yet complete, suggestions are welcomed, with more photos coming soon. All motors will have a fan and heatsink for improved performance. The design is made of sturdy parts for ease of assembly, and once finished, all files will be available. Some changes are planned, but the creator wants to finalize this version first. Today, they successfully mounted the bed and some electronics. The printer's motors and other components were sourced from a junked standup copier, fax, and printer, with only bearings and electronics purchased separately.
