This is a direct-drive extruder for [Jubilee](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3843001), my toolchanging 3D printer. # Feature Breakdown * Direct-Drive for hassle-free retraction * Compact Design * Parks into the parking post on Jubilee's [Toolchanging System](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3805144) # Shopping List All stock parts for this extruder can be found on the second sheet of the Jubilee [Shopping List](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gq5yLxlfPtb3yrGsuXR_ZLhAFGB77CzGvfcWYyYIvT4/edit#gid=0). Note that it is listed for an order of 2 extruder heads. # Print Settings Print all parts in the displayed orientations with the following settings: * 0.2mm layer height * 6 perimeter layers * no supports **Exception:** print the v-groove locking plate with **0.1mm** layer height. **Exception:** print the fan shroud with supports. # Laser-Cutting Settings: * Cut the *compression_flexure* from 0.125-in. [Delrin](https://www.onlinemetals.com/en/buy/plastic/0-125-plastic-sheet-acetal-natural/pid/6761) # TODOs The fan shroud currently needs some work for improved airflow, so high-speed perimeter printing (beyond 90mm/sec) is currently gated by better part cooling. (Extra small features, such as the smokestack on the classic Benchy model, should be printed around 30mm/sec.) # Updates: * **Oct 5, 2019** First pass at updating fan shroud.
