JUJUTSU KAISEN | Kento Nanami's Glasses

Eyeglasses worn by the character Kento Nanami in the anime Jujutsu Kaisen. I took measurements of my face in order to model the glasses and they fit perfectly on my face without the need for any additional support. It's important to note that the nose bridge doesn't actually hold the glasses to your face, they are only there to connect the two rims together. It's actually the tight fit of the rims onto your face and the friction that holds them in place. (I've worn them and they're actually not uncomfortable) List of the parts needed to print: 2x Nanami_rim.obj 2x Nanami_pads.obj 1x Nanami_nose_bridge.obj The rims are perfectly symmetrical, so don't worry about having to mirror them or anything. Assembling: You will need a soldering iron and superglue in order to assemble all the parts. The first step is attaching the nose bridge. The nose bridge should be slightly above the center of the rims and placed at an angle to better match the shape of your nose (It doesn't have to be exact since the nose bridge DOES NOT support the glasses and keeps them on your face). Use a soldering iron and a bit of extra filament to weld the nose bridge onto the rim. Don't be afraid of making a mess, you really want a good solid connection; you can clean it up with a Dremel and some sanding later. Conforming to your face: The glasses are not going to fit your face at first, and if they did, congratulations, you're a wizard. To fix this and have them better fit your face, use a soldering iron to gently heat up the nose bridge and the welds you made to the rim. You use want them to be pliable so that you can then put the Rims onto your face and then place them into a position in which they fit perfectly on your face and don't fall off. After you found the perfect placement, hold the glasses in that position and let the plastic cool down for a few minutes. This might require some trial and error. Finishing Touches: After they fit onto your face perfectly, you can then start doing the final touches. This is where I recommend sanding everything down and making those weld bonds look presentable enough. After that, simply use superglue to attach the nose pads. ( They are only for aesthetics and don't really do anything else.) If you want to go the extra mile, you can spray paint them metallic silver and then take an old pair of glasses, take the lenses off, shape them into circles with a bench grinder and then insert the lenses into the Nanami glasses. That way if you need glasses but despise wearing contacts with every fiber of your being, you can have the prop glasses but still be able to see SOMETHING.
