Jumping Kangaroo Pull Toy 1/2 Size

This is a Jumping Kangaroo at 1/2 scale. The front wheels have offset axle holes to impart a jumping movement and allow the legs to look like they are jumping. The baby roo's head fits into the hole in the pouch. The upper leg pins to the body, the lower leg pins to the upper leg and then to the wheel. Upper arms pin to the body. Make sure the front wheels are perfectly aligned to have both legs jumping at the same time. Once assembled, it will roll along on a rough surface such as a carpet or floor. The front wheels will likely not rotate on a smooth surface due to the friction of the legs. Model based on plan by David Wakefield in How to Make Animated Toys.
