I wasn't pleased with how the clips flopped around inside the base, so I remixed the base a bit...

No more clips: the rubber band slips over the protrusions inside.

Also added a circular indentation on the front for orientation purposes.

As with the original, no Support required.

Also added an Extender that the Base snaps onto. Gives the target more mass and stability. It features a center located attachment hole.

Print Settings

Printer:

My Mi3 and AluMaker

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.15

Infill:

20

Filament:
Your choice I used PLA+
Your choice

Notes:

A pair of tweezers and a small flat-tip screwdriver aids in stringing the rubber band in the Base.
Rubber Band Installation:
Slip the rubber band over the 2 protrusions on one end, pushing it all the way down.

Give the free end a half-twist, then slip it over the other end protrusions, one at a time, pushing it all the way down.

It should "seat" around the bottom of each protrusion.

The Base simply snaps onto the Extension.

I've included the targets found in the original Thing.

Category: Toys & Games
