This is the flying saucer that was home to the Robinson family of Lost in Space. It's a classic space ship that I just had to have. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: Standard Notes: You will need to scale up the pieces before you print. I used %800. Any smaller and you might have problems with some of the smaller pieces and detail. You will also need to rotate the lowerDeck piece by 180 degrees (turn it upside down). No supports are necessary. The following parts will need to be printed multiple times: landingStruct x 3 landingPad x 3 steps x 3 portHole x 2 fusionLight x 11 (11 pieces total but you decide how many per color) Unfortunately for me the pieces warped a bit after I painted them (spray paint). Before painting, the pieces fit quite well. I had to add a filler ring to compensate for the gap created between the bottom and middle pieces. It doesn't look bad actually (printed in red translucent), but it isn't part of the "real" Jupiter 2.
