Jurassic Park Gate with LEGO® Base

This is a remix of the 'Jurassic Park Gate "What do they have in there King Kong" by Drussell19. I took his original model and added some hinges, this required me to also widen the entrance. I created a LEGO® base and cleaned up the original STL to make it 3d printing friendly as the original model wouldn't slice correctly. Hope you like it, I've made mine as a present for my Jurassic Park obsessed nephew. Instructions 3d Print all of the individual parts and assemble as per the expanded photo. I had to split the base into 3 parts as it was too big to print on my printers bed, use the joining piece to hold the base together and glue (I used hot-melt glue). I finished it off by painting the pillars with a stone effect spray paint, the gates themselves were sprayed in brown, the text was hand painted in yellow and red. I added fine stone ballast (used for railway modelling) to make the road through the gates. More photos and info on my website
