JZK HW-688 Buck Converter 4040 profile mount - 24V/12V to 5V 5A USB

An enclosure for a JZK HW-688 Buck Converter (24V/12V to 5V 5A USB) Designed to mount on the 4040 profile of an Ender 3 directly underneath the Enders power supply for easy wiring but can also be mounted at the front of the printer next to the main board enclosure. I used 16AWG wire as that was the largest the screw terminals could handle. I chose to cover the 5V output terminals as I only intend to use the USB port. The converter slides securely in from one end and is held rigidly in place. To permanently fix in place you will need to tap the ends of the aluminium profiles (same size as the bolts holding the ender 3 screen) You can also fix the capping lid in place with a short M3 countersunk bolt.
