It is the simplified 3D model of a part of K1 building at Middle East Technical University Civil Engineering Department scanned within the scope of an academic study. 3d Models were used to design a disabled-friendly space and thus contributed to making life easier for people with disabilities. We have also aimed to show that it is possible to scan 3d using just an ordinary DSLR camera. To begin with this complicated application, we need to benefit from both the discipline of cinematography and engineering. We want to thank Burak Ulaşoğlu for his valuable advice and information on the optimization of the location of the markers, the combination of camera lenses to be used, the angles, the camera settings. He actively supported this work and coordinated most of the shootings. Without his help, we could not put together the photos that would fit into the 3d algorithm we used.
