K40 Y Limit Bracket
thingiverse
I wanted to shift my Y limit from its original position at the top left corner to a new spot at the bottom left, so I created this straightforward bracket to make it happen without requiring any modifications to the machine itself. First, place two M3 nuts into their designated slots on the bracket, then insert two M3 bolts that are as short as possible and screw them in firmly. Next, remove the limit switch from its current position on the frame by unscrewing it using the screws you've just removed, and attach it to the newly created bracket instead. After that, carefully slide the bracket over the top edge of the gantry rails, making sure to adjust its position to allow for the desired Y travel range. Finally, tighten the M3 bolts securely in place to keep everything stable and in order.
