K8400 power switch housing

This is a remix. Having a detachable power plug, a fuse and a switch is both comfortable and more safe than the original non-detachable power cable. But I also needed somewhere to put the small Power Supply Unit I wanted to use for my LED strip. The space inside the original model made by h60, though very well designed, was way to small. My remix has lots of space for other things beside the power socket. Make sure that the 230V power lines are well insulated and kept apart from any electronics and low voltage cables you might choose to house inside. Use the inlay part. You have been warned. This housing is made for mounting on the left side of the printer. If you want to mount on the right side, you need to mirror the base and the lid parts. My right side is occupied by "Velleman Vertex K8400 Mainboard fanduct 80mm" http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:921191 Very good stuff, noiseless fan. You can easily adjust the layout in many ways, using Sketchup. Even more volume, or less, other power connectors, etc. (This model uses a snap-in model which needs a 47x28 mm hole). Also, you will need to make a hole in the casing to let the 230V cable out to the Vertex PSU. The position of that hole might be best to determine when you do the mounting. I used a soldering iron to make the hole, quick and good enough. Less clutter under the printer! Higher safety! It would off course be neater to power the LED strip with 15V directly from the Vertex itself. Is that advisable? The LED strip is marked for 12V. Anyone knows?
