Ka Bar Tanto Knife

Ka Bar Tanto Knife

This is my take on a Ka Bar Tanto. Every part should be printable without supports with the proper orientation except for the blade. Everything fits together without glue. For my print I used Prusament PETG in Anthracite Grey for the blade, locking nut, pin and end cap. Filamentum PLA in Ivory White for the handle and Prusament PLA in Mystic Brown for the cross guard. I am yet to try and print the blade in Flex material to be used as a training knife and airsoft prop. To put it together after printing, simply put the cross guard through the tail of the blade followed by the upper part of the handle and the locking nut. Then put the pin through the hole and center it so when you screw the bottom half of the handle it is not in the way of the thread and it is trapped inside the handle. Then add the end cap and you should be good to go. Please post your makes! Buy me a coffee if you like my designs.
