This is a simple tool to help open Kailh Choc V2 mechanical switches with reduced risk for damage while requiring less precision and time. I appreciate any comments with details of your experiences with successful and unsuccessful prints/uses you have with this design, as well as design ideas that could make it better to use or print. The two versions --------------------- I recommend the opener version that allows you to get the switch out of the opener easily: 1. Choc_v2_open_and_release.stl. If you want a version that keeps the switch somewhat locked in the tool after the switch is opened, you could use the second version: 2. Choc_v2_open_and_hold.stl Instructions --------------------- 1. Hold the switch by its black bottom casing. 2. Press the switch down onto the prongs, making sure that the prongs hit in the gap between the casing parts, and that they hit dead **center** in this gap. Disclaimer --------------------- This is in no way supported by or related to Kailh. This worked well for me but could result in damage if your prints come out different from mine, please use at your own risk.
