Kallax boardgame shelving system

When I stored my board games in my Kallax squares, I disliked stacking them horizontally on top of each other and then always needing the bottom one, and I hated storing them vertically and then having the components scrambled inside of the box. So I came up with this shelving system I could print with my 3D printer. It's still a work in progress, but it tries to accommodate the most common boardgame heights, but it's not perfect yet. Because it's modular, it's also supposed to work in each size of kallax (1/2/3/4/5 squares), but could be my measurements are a bit off. The idea is to remove the small boards of the Kallax, leaving only the long inner boards, then print out as many of the left/right pieces you need to reach the top of the kallax on both sides. (Keep stacking groups of two of each on top of each other). I have the front ones about 6cm into the kallax. The print out a bunch of the default connectors, you need 2 of these for each shelf. Then, if you saw the boards you removed from the Kallax in half, they will fit nicely inside the those connectors. And you get double the shelves that way, although I recommend scavenging some cheap second hand kallaxes, which might have damaged outside boards, but that doesn't matter because you need them just for the shelves :) ----- Some downsides: Lots of plastic Quite a long print time (I can fit 6 (3 of each) of the sides on one plate of my Prusa. And 5 of the connectors on another. I tried to improve it by printing an infill only version, but that had some downsides too (weakpoints around the holes for the screws) Doesn't perfectly fit all board games Like I said, the modular parts might not be 100% correct for the 1/2/3/4/5 heights. (I printed it for 5) There are some alternative connectors (small, large) for games that don't fit that work in theory, but since they deviate from standard, the shelf above will not be a standard size, requiring either a specific game above it that is also a weird size, or more alternate connectors until you can rectify the issue, again with a non-standard sized game. (For example, if the expansion to a game is a standard box, but the original is non standard, and you really want those above each other..) ..
