Since my Garmin GPS died, I wanted a means to mount my cell phone safely to my motorcycle. This is designed to mount to a Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager, and comes in two pieces. One piece mounts to the handlebar, and the 2nd piece is designed to fit the phone and easily mounts to the handlebar mount using one 3mm X 10 flat head screw and four locating pins that you print. The handlebar mount utilizes an embedded M3 nut that is inserted during the print. One must pause the print at 4.6mm, insert the nut, and then resume the print. On Prusa I3 printers, this can be done by embedding a color change command (M600) at the 4.6mm layer height or use the Prusa Color Print web page to do it for you. This mount is designed to utilize two zip-ties, along with something like Gecko Strip tape to keep it from slipping on the handlebar (and protects the handlebar). Different phone adapters can be designed and fitted to the handlebar mount as it uses a straightforward template and the same standard mounting pegs and pattern. The adapter plate here is for a Galaxy S7 Edge coupled to a Tech21 Evo Frame case. The phone adapter model is **completely parametric** and can be quickly modified to fit ANY phone with just a few parameter changes. I may make this Fusion 360 model available upon request- just send me a message. https://youtu.be/QUG-me26yu4
