Kayak Light Mounts via boat handles

Kayak Light Mounts via boat handles

I paddle a Cascade Designs Storm sea kayak. There are places to tie off, deck bungies, and handles made of short sections of cord with a plastic tubular grip. But nowhere obvious to mount lights. Lights, in addition to being a really good idea, are legally required when boating in the dark, at least in Maine. The days get short during the fall, which is the best time to get out! You can see the sunrise without getting up stupid early! I found a set of fore and aft lights made for canoes and other small boats which have gunnels to screw them to. I had to design a mount that attaches to the corded handle to attach the lights to. I removed the clamps to use [this set](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Shoreline-Marine-Portable-Clamp-on-W-Navigational-Light/35259546).
