Keg Transport Wedge

Transporting beer kegs can be an interesting process. You don't want to slosh it around too much and you definitely don't want it rolling around when you brake or accelorate. But you also probably want to drive without worrying too much about it. In my old four door car, I'd just toss a keg in the back seat and try not to drive like I usually drive. The back seat in my new car isn't so easy to load in and out of so I decided I needed a better way to get kegs to and from wherever I was buying them from. I decided to try creating a set of wedges that would be velcroed to the carpet in the trunk and keep a full or empty keg in place. So far it has worked surprisingly well. While the photo shows it in the middle of the trunk, I actually tend to rest the keg in one corner so that one end and side are secure, then use two "short" wedges on the other long side and then one "end." I originally designed the "tall" wedge with the idea of finding a strap that could be used to hold the keg in place. I suppose that would work well but I have not tested it. I ended up designing the "short" wedges as a test to see if the idea was even going to work and it worked so well I never bothered with the tall version. However, I'd love feedback if anyone does try it out. A few notes: - This set of wedges is designed for sixth barrel sankey kegs. I imagine other similar sized style kegs would work well but I have not tested. I certainly wouldn't even consider using these with any kegs with a larger circumference. - The velcro I use is their industrial strength 2" wide stuff (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006RSP1). So far it has held up well and doesn't show signs of wearing out after several uses. - Since the expectation is for these to remain in the trunk, a heat tolerant filament is recommended.
