<p>If you found this, you probably have the same problem I did… The OEM bracket is poorly designed to withstand day-to-day forces over a long time. The first time I replaced the bracket at the cost of $90, because Sears will only sell it with the machined stainless steel handle. When it broke again, I refused and just took the door handle off for a while. Since this didn't sit well with my partner I leveraged it as an excuse to get into 3D printing! </p><p>My replacement bracket was modeled with OnShape and prints wonderfully in only a few hours. PLA+ Grey matches pretty close to the OEM color so I didn't do any finishing. </p>
