Induction Coil Puck

Induction Coil Puck

Adafruit has an amazing induction coil & LED set, so I needed to do something with it... having printed 20 articulated dragons from Design 26 I thought this would be a good test of it. I used Tinkercad to cut the eyes out of the articulated dragon, making the holes big enough to drop in the LEDs with a drop of superglue. I can see modifying any number of designs to allow the insertion of these little LEDs. Links to the various parts are below. The 'puck' holds the electronics, the puck design holds the plug receptacle in place, and there is no gluing or soldering required. (or supports, I try hard to avoid supports). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ER6QWAY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_image https://www.adafruit.com/product/5140 Note: this download is for the puck to hold the electronics to energize the LEDs. There is no .stl for the articulated dragon with the eyes removed. If you want it - go purchase the model from Design 26.. spend the $4, it's worth it.
