Kershaw Lucha Pocket Sheath

Kershaw Lucha Pocket Sheath

Sheath for carrying a Kershaw Lucha Balisong in your pocket. Especially useful for latch-deleted Luchas. Takes some time to break-in, there will be some resistance before then, it only takes about a week and a half of consistent use. This is a directionally-agnostic design, so be careful what handle you grab when taking the knife out.   The clip is a design that grabs onto the hem of a pocket edge, which holds onto compatible pants very well. Most jeans work well. Pajama pants, gym shorts, or leggings will have a weaker hold, but still acceptable. Pants with vertical pocket openings such as dress pants are ackward at best. I'll work on a design with a 90 degree bend to accomodate for these types of pants.   Printing:    20% infill    use support on buildplate only; there is a sacrificial bridge for the top side of the slot.    Make sure to orient the part so that the filament lines are perpendicular to the sacrifical bridge to that the filament is properly pulled across the gap.    2mm layer height    1.5mm shell thickness    Clip might break if you use a thinner shell.   Cleanup:    Use a long scraper or whatever you have to remove as much of the sacrifical bridge as possible, and the rest should slowly break off and fall out along with the break-in process.   Picture is an earlier, two-part version, printed in Hatchbox blue PLA, no finishing, bonded with epoxy.
