An earth friendly alternative to k-cups Instructions Items needed Acid brush (hardware store in plumbing) DMC (fiberglass supplies store) 300 mesh stainless screen (Metal Supermarket, http://www.metalsupermarkets.com/) 4 printed parts. Cup, lid top and bottom ring. gloves (DMC will strip all the oils out of your skin) Safety gear (eyes, face,.lungs and toes,..) Print the parts, push bottom ring to bottom of cup, use an acid brush + liberal amounts of DMC to solvent weld bottom ring into place. Let harden for an hour. meanwhile using the top ring as a template draw out a pattern then cut some 300 mesh screen to slightly under the OD of the top ring. Screen should fit in the bottom of the k-cup being held up by the bottom ring. Once you have a good fit, slip in the top ring. If needed use some DMC to Sol-Weld the top ring in place sandwiching the mesh between the two rings.
